External Strategic Communication

Enhance your strategic communication skills in this comprehensive Turku Åbo Summer School course focused on web-based external communication. APPLY BY 14 APRIL 2025

This course is an introduction to web based external communication with a strategic angle. The participants will learn about communication as a strategic tool for the organization, and how to develop a concrete and functional communication strategy and communication plan, including a content plan and a more detailed communication schedule. Further the course will contain some information about the visual identity and the tone of voice of the organization. Online media channels, such as some social media platforms, the website and news letters will be handled, too. Crisis communications will be handled shortly, too, from a sustainability angle.

  • understand how the visuals and the tone of voice should be built for different target groups

Lectures, group work, project work, report, presentations.

1 August – 30 August. Contact teaching in Turku 4-15 August 2025. The start and/or finish of the course is completed online.
