CANCELLATION & refund POLICY
This cancellation policy applies in all cases.
Unpaid course fees
The course fees are payable with a credit card after you have been accepted to Turku Åbo Summer School.
You will have two weeks to pay the course fee, starting from when you receive the confirmation e-mail. If we do not receive your payment in full within two weeks, your course reservation will be cancelled. Places will not be held for applicants whose fees are not paid in full by the due date.
Course cancellations
Courses of Turku Åbo Summer School will run with a minimum of 10 participants.
Turku Åbo Summer School retains the right to cancel a course if the minimum amount of participants is not reached. In such a case, Turku Åbo Summer School will inform the course participant in writing (e-mail) as soon as possible, and the course fee will be refunded to the participant.
Participation cancellations
Cancellation of participation in a course should be made in writing to summerschool@utu.fi.
If you cancel your participation before 31 May 2024, Turku Åbo Summer School will refund you the course fee. After May 31 2024, the course fee will NOT be refunded. The same policy applies if you are forced to cancel because you did not receive a visa.
The course fee cannot be transferred to upcoming editions of Turku Åbo Summer School, or to other participants.
If you cancel your participation in Turku Åbo Summer School and have made housing arrangements, please note that you must also cancel your housing arrangements.
